What we do
At Five Star Polymer, we specialize in manufacturing high-quality PET bottle flakes and non-food grade RPET resin from both white and green PET bottles. Our advanced recycling process ensures the efficient transformation of post-consumer PET bottles into valuable raw materials for various industrial applications.
Collection
We source post-consumer PET bottles from various collection points to maintain a steady supply of recyclable material.
Crushing
The collected bottles are crushed into smaller pieces, also called PET Flakes, to facilitate the subsequent cleaning process.
Hot Washing
The crushed PET Flakes undergo a hot washing process to thoroughly remove contaminants, labels, and residues.
Sorting
After washing, the PET Flakes are meticulously sorted to separate them from other plastics and materials.
These color and metal sorted hot wash PET flakes serve as our primary product.
Extrusion to Non-Food Grade Resin
For further refinement, the hot wash flakes are melted and extruded into high-quality non-food grade resin, forming our second product line. These PET Resins have IV Range from 0.68 – 0.84 dl/g to cater diverse customer needs.
